Why should your rink be a member of the American Skating Association?

1. ASA member skaters want to skate at member rinks.
2. By offering discounts to member skaters, they will come to the rink more frequently and take advantages of those offers.
3. This program can be a valuable tool for a rink owner. A club that isn't competive, but draws people together to form a loyal community within your rink.

We believe that Skating Rink Owners and Operators are the most resourceful, hard working people around. As rink owners ourselves, we know how hard it has been to find any benefit packages for our employees and their families. After doing much research, we found that most skaters don't have access to benefits and savings for their families either. We found the solution! September 2009, the American Skating Association opened to help rink owners and skaters get benefits and savings along with building a bigger home base of skaters and their families.

Rink Membership is only $250 a year. This includes 2 benefit packages for yourself, managers or employees, listings on our website by state with your logo, name, address, telephone and website. We also include your discounts that are offered only to ASA members. Our unique press releases, marketing materials, educational information and knowledge of how to make your facility more profitable PLUS all our benefit offerings make this a winning opportunity for you, your employees and your skaters.

Our full color brochures that you can label is a beautiful way to market your rink and the benefits of skating with you. Unique products and programs will be available that you won't find anywhere else!

With your rink membership, you also receive 2 benefit packages (single or family) worth up to $100 if you joined and then wanted the benefits too. You can give these memberships to your key employees,  yourself or anyone that you choose. The other funds are used to promote skating and create valuable marketing tools like radio spots, TV commercials, press releases and cover postage for mailings. We do not have salaried employees, everyone is a volunteer so 100% of your membership fee goes to providing materials that rink owners can use to market their rinks to their local community.
